2025 Calgary Women’s Disc Golf League

Calgary Women’s Disc Golf League is back for 2025! 

When: 6 pm shotgun start, Mondays May 5 to August 25
Where: Currie Reservoir DGC
Cost: $75 for the season, prepaid and non-refundable. Must be a CDGC member for the duration of the season.

Whether you're new to the game or have been playing for years we’d love to welcome you on the course. League is open to female-matching players of all age and skill levels (she/her/they/them). This will be another fantastic season and is the perfect opportunity to hit the course, work on your skills, and get to know some of the incredible people in our local disc golf community.

Building on the success of last year we have big plans in the works! Some small changes to division splits in an effort to reduce the sheer number of divisions. We’ll be offering coloured divisions for all who prefer to play recreationally, and female amateur (FA) for those looking to play more competitively. Aside from Junior divisions the age protected groupings will be collapsed, making for fewer divisions to manage on a weekly basis. 

Competitive players, you will be grouped based on your PDGA rating, or if you don’t have one, we’ll work to put you in the right spot. This will allow those looking for more of a competitive league to focus on their game, while still allowing space for those out for a relaxed round. One dedicated week a month will be mixed competitive and recreational cards, it’s important to keep building our Calgary Disc Golf Community.

Juniors, we would love to have you join our league! Note to parents, any player younger than 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian as per PDGA Youth Safety rules. If your youth is considering signing up, please reach out, we love to support younger players.

Early league registration bonus! Simple Steps Fitness have planned disc golf specific workouts to kick off our season. Workouts are scheduled for Monday April 14 between 6-7 and 7-8 pm, and are restricted to four people per time slot. Be one of the first eight people registered to secure your space.

What do I get for my league fees?

League Member only Clinic on April 28.

• Beginner and Advanced offerings. Learn some basics or brush up on your throws under the guidance of our fabulous coaches.

Competitive and Recreational tiers.

• Competitive: FPO, FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4.
• Recreational: Purple and Green, Junior Divisions.

17 weeks of PDGA sanctioned play.

• May 5 through August 25.

Small player pack for first 40 registrants.

2025 CDGC Women’s League Tag for first 50 registrants.

Year end awards.

Season wrap-up event on Monday September 8.

Donation to the CDGC to support growth of Disc Golf in Calgary.

• Register for the league before April 21, 2025, and your name will be entered into a draw to have your league fees (League only, not CDGC Membership fee) reimbursed.

• PDGA C-Tier Women’s Tournament, Saturday June 7
• Register for the tournament before May 12, 2025, and your name will be entered into a draw to have your tournament registration fee reimbursed

Unable to commit to League? Drop in! $7/night, show up and bring cash. (Although we always appreciate a heads up!) If you decide to join our league, drop-in fees paid will be put towards league registration. Note: drop ins are not eligible for prize draws and season awards.
